"I am definitely happier living this lifestyle, van life has given us the space and energy to live more intentionally, we've gained the tools and ability to focus on what matters most to us"
Meet Noami & Dustin from Irietoaurora & Diversify.Vanlife
These two are doing some incredible things for the Van Life community and share brilliant content.
Dustin and Noami are digital nomads, eco warriors and have been travelling on the road for nearly 5 years with their dog.
They were working a 9 to 5 in New Orleans and decided it was time to take off an explore the national parks. They gave themselves 6 months and here they are 5 years later.
Noami created Diversify Vanlife in 2019 in response to the lack of representation of black, indigenous, asian, latin, or other people of colours within the nomadic community as well as other marginalised individuals in the road travel community. It has grown into a supportive community and movement of BIPOC, LGBTQIA, disabled and previously unheard voices taking up space and shifting the narrative.
"Sharing this unconventional lifestyle has strengthened out relationship more than I thought possible"

"Nothing feels like a chore in the way that it used to, getting up in the morning isn’t so hard because I know that maybe I have work to do but my day is not all about work I am not going to spend the bulk of my day at work away from my dogs and my best friend"
Meet Bree! Bree is 26, non binary from Colorado, USA.
Bree, Guilly and the two doggos Zeus and Apollo have just started living on the road.
Bree graduated college was working in they field, had a cool apartment and a good community of friends but knew that there was something more.
With an apartment lease coming to an end Bree knew they needed to do something big and needed something to change.
Something I am sure most people can relate to is working so much that you are so tired so when you get time off, you are too exhausted to actually do the things you want to do.
"I can definitely say I am happier, I am in love with this new life. The most important things, which we have found rapidly are not really things they are just there. It’s a huge jump, it’s a lifestyle change, its not only that it’s a departure from this norm that we as a collective are conditioned to believe is the way to go, the right way. That change feels big and scary and sometimes you just need one more vote to tell you to do it"

"You can actually live a life that is different from what society expects you to do. When working as an employee you are making your bosses dream become a reality, not your own. We have realized we can actually turn what we love into our career!"

"Society has conditioned us that we need to do X/Y/Z to be successful and that is a lie. When I was working 9 to 5 I would fantasize around what I am doing now"
Meet Emma, Emma was living in Connecticut after graduating (which was something she didn't even want to do in the first place), working a job that wasn't making her happy and pining over people on Instagram living her dream.
She made the decision that the time was never going to be right and started to plan her van, in a year she was taking off on an adventure of a lifetime.
Emma left with 2 PAY CHECKS, yes you heard right... 2 pay checks. She reveals in the podcast how you can make it on the road without a steady income.
"Just do it, please. We need more people taking control of their lives and not letting someone else dictate what their future is going to look like. Society has conditioned us that we need to do X/Y/Z to be successful and that is a lie"
